Monsterized! (UNRELEASED)

1993 – 1996

A Point-and-Click adventure game meant to be published by Sunflowers Interactive Entertainment Software GmbH at the end of 1995, but ended up being cancelled despite almost reaching completition.

The Lady, The Mage and The Knight (Unreleased)

1996 – 2000

One of the most well known cancelled dark eye projects. LMK was developed by Larian & Attic Entertainment and underwent a long development cycle that unfortunatley ended in disaster despite the project looking very promising.

DSA: Armalion (Unreleased)

1999 – 2001

Armalion was meant to be an RPG (originally even a strategy game) based on the dark eye tabletop of the same name. Unfortunatley due to Ikarion going bankrupt in December 2001, the project never saw the light of the day.

Sacred 1 & 2

2002 – 2009

After Ikarion Entertainment went bankrupt and sold Armalions assets & engine to Ascaron in 2002, they went on to develop with that, what would become the legendary german arpg series Sacred.

OTHER PROJECTS

Stormbringer: Elric of Melniboné (UNRELEASED)

2000

A unreleased Action RPG based on Elric of Melniboné developed by Snowball Interactive, which has been cancelled due to the studio being unable to find a publisher.

ARTEFACT (UNRELEASED)

2001

A unreleased strategy game which was in production at Ascaron Entertainment in 2001. It was announced at E3 2001 only to be never seen again.

grandia (series)

1997 – 2003

Grandia is a videogame series made by the japanese game developer Game Arts. Our focus lies on Grandia 1 & 2.

Venom, Xenus 1+2 & Precursors

2005 – 2009

Xenus: Boiling Point, Xenus II: White Gold and The Precursors were made by the Ukrainian game developer “Deep Shadows”. We also included Codename Outbreak in our research since its made by the developers of the Vital Engine which was used by the later games.
